Anti-Spam Policy

DOWN.CD will not tolerate spamming and has a zero tolerance policy regarding the transmission of "spam" e-mail.

DOWN.CD requires that all of our affiliates abide by our Anti-Spam policy and they expressly warrant that they will not engage in spamming. If you feel that you have received spam e-mail, please e-mail us with the details (the e-mail address on the "from" line and any "opt-out e-mail address at the bottom of the e-mail") at [email protected]. We want to assure you that your complaint will be taken very seriously. We need your help to insure that no one is sending unauthorized e-mails.

Also, please make sure that [email protected] address is added to your email address book. If it isn't, there's a risk that our mails will be bounced or diverted by your junk mail filter and they won't show up in your inbox. See the instructions below if you're not sure how your mailbox works.

To make sure that you receive important information from us, please add [email protected] to your address book or safe ("white") list.

AOL (version 9.0 or higher)

Adding [email protected] to your address book:

• Click the Mail menu and select Address Book.
• When the Address Book window pops up, click Add.
• Cut and paste [email protected] into the Other E-Mail field.
• Make this the Primary E-Mail address by checking the corresponding check box.
• Click Save.

AOL (version 8.0)

Adding [email protected] to your address book:

• Open the email.
• Click Add Address.
• Verify the sender's contact information.
• Click Save.

Entourage

Adding [email protected] to your address book:

• Open your DOWN.CD Email.
• Right-click the email address.
• Select Add To Address Book from the menu.
• Verify the email address.
• Click Save.

Earthlink

Adding [email protected] to your address book:

• Open your mailbox. Then, click on Address Book.
• Once the Address Book opens, click Add.
• On the Add Contact screen, find the Internet Information box.
• Enter [email protected] into the top email box.
• Click Save.

Gmail

Adding [email protected] to your address book:

• Click Contacts on the left side of any Gmail page.
• Click Add Contact.
• Copy and paste [email protected] into the primary email address box.
• Click Save.

Hotmail/MSN

Adding [email protected] to your safe list:

• Open your mailbox and click Options.
• Click Junk E-Mail Protection.
• Click on the Safe List link.
• Copy and paste [email protected] into the box entitled "Type an address or domain".
• Click Add.

MacMail

Adding [email protected] to your address book:

• Open your DOWN.CD Email.
• Ctrl-click [email protected].
• Select Open in your Address Book.
• Verify the email address.
• Click Save.

Outlook (2003+)

Adding [email protected] to your address book:

• On the Tools menu, click Options.
• On the Preferences tab, click Junk E-mail.
• On the Safe Senders tab, click Add.
• In the "Add address" section, copy and paste [email protected].
• Click OK.

Outlook Express

Adding [email protected] to your address book:

• Open your DOWN.CD Email.
• Left-click [email protected].
• Click Add to Contacts.
• Click Save and close.

Verizon

Adding [email protected] to your safe list:

• Go to your Verizon Inbox.
• Click Options.
• Select the Block Senders tab.
• On the Block Senders screen, you'll see a "Block Sender List" and a "Safe List". Where it says, "Always accept from this e-mail address or sub domain even if the domain is blocked," enter [email protected].
• Click Save.

Yahoo!

Adding [email protected] to your safe list:

• Open your Yahoo! mailbox and click on Mail Options.
• Click Filters.
• Then, click Add Filter.
• In the top row, labeled "From header," select "contains" from the pull-down menu.
• Click in the text box next to the menu and enter "[email protected]".
• At the bottom, after clicking on "Move the message to", select "Inbox" from the pull down menu.
• Click Add Filter again.

Other Providers

If you use a Web mail system or email application not listed above, access that program's "Help" files, instruction manual, or customer support section to add us to your list of approved email senders. In most cases, adding [email protected] to your address book should be enough.
